Delta unveils super yacht design for worldwide cruising

An American family’s dream yacht has been designed by Delta when it unveiled the 66-meter motor yacht with an ice-strengthened steel hull and composite superstructure. The Delta Design Group did the naval architecture, space planning, and exterior styling. Aside from Diane Johnson Design’s interiors, the yacht also boasts outdoor spaces to bask in the sun. It also features a fold-down beach cabana at the stern with bar, day head, sauna, a large sundeck with a pool, and a private owner’s deck off the master stateroom. The yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 main engines and carrying over 50,000 gallons of fuel and will have a 5,000 nautical mile range at 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16.8 knots. It is also enriched with jet skis and a custom 28’ Italian style launch. It is expected for delivery in 2013.
