Not a DJ or a Hollywood heartthrob, but Ibiza was vowed by the scale of Google co-founder’s megayacht which is so large it cannot even fit inside an NFL stadium.

Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google and Alphabet, may not be the richest man in the United States, but he certainly owns the largest superyacht in the country. At 466 feet, Dragonfly is more dragon than fly, a mesmerizing behemoth that recently made a spectacular appearance off the coast of Ibiza. Locals must be quite used to watching one fabulous vessel after another grace the azure waters of the Balearic Islands. A favorite summer destination for tourists and billionaires alike (though that’s where the comparison ends), Andratx recently welcomed 404-footer Al Lusail, the Emir of Qatar’s yacht. Now, a larger dragon has sailed in to steal the spotlight, according to ABC.

Dragonfly cruised in from France’s La Ciotat, likely fresh from a refit, ready to bask in the Mediterranean sun. She’s currently anchored at Sant Francesc de Formentera, the charming capital and largest settlement of Formentera Island, per Marine Traffic. With its cobbled main square, quaint church, boutique shops, and waterfront cafés, it sounds like the perfect place for a well-heeled billionaire with a boat. Even more so now that Sergey Brin has quietly stepped back into the limelight.

After retiring in 2019 as the president of Alphabet, the 51-year-old tech visionary, worth $136 billion, has returned to full-time work. According to The Economic Times, Brin is “working pretty much every day now,” diving headfirst into Google’s AI pursuits. But even the most dedicated minds deserve a break, and this Mediterranean escape could be his way of recharging. Though it’s unconfirmed whether he’s aboard, it wouldn’t be surprising if the world’s ninth-richest man was enjoying some well-earned downtime.

After all, Dragonfly is a floating marvel, measuring 9,500 gross tons, she’s longer than a professional football field and too massive to fit inside an NFL stadium. No wonder she’s turning heads across Spain. Designed by the esteemed German firm Lürssen and Nauta Design, Dragonfly features 12 opulent guest cabins, a glass-bottom pool on the main deck, a serene spa, a private cinema, and a water sports center. To help Brin stay connected with Google’s AI efforts, the yacht boasts offices and six Starlink dishes to ensure uninterrupted internet access.

There’s also a state-of-the-art gym and a high-energy games room. A helicopter hangar ensures seamless comings and goings, but it’s the bespoke double-folding platform at the stern, transforming into an expansive beach club with direct ocean access, that truly deserves applause. If you don’t stop to ogle at Dragonfly, a four-deck masterpiece, then what will?
