Power Rangers billionaire Haim Saban’s 257-foot superyacht is a floating palace. Spread across five decks the Eminence with a range of 7,000 miles has eight suites, a beach club, an inflatable pool, a glass walled dining room and a cinema room.

From a cramped one-room flat in Tel Aviv to a $90 million superyacht gliding across the seas, Haim Saban’s story is one of paradoxes, persistence, and prosperity. The American billionaire went from being born into a poor family in Alexandria, Egypt, to enjoying a 257-foot-long superyacht Eminence, with his family. From being told he was “not cut out for academic studies,” to making it big in the U.S. by bringing the Japanese franchise Power Rangers to TV screens across the West, the risk-taker paved his own path of success.

While billions in the bank may give someone status, it is their lifestyle that truly shows how that money can be enjoyed. Owning a superyacht is perhaps the most natural way for rags-to-riches tycoons to celebrate their success. Some may call it hedonistic, but in more than one way, it is inspirational.

The Abeking & Rasmussen vessel, delivered in 2008, was the largest yacht they had ever built at that time. It was acquired by Haim Saban in 2019 after an extensive refit in 2018. Both the interior and exterior of the $90 million motoryacht were made spellbinding by the able hands of the iconic Reymond Langton Design.

Inside, the five-decker sleeps 12 guests in eight sumptuous suites. Guests aboard Eminence indulge in a life of leisure, whether it’s movie nights in the private cinema, rejuvenating in the sauna, or simply lounging in the expansive beach club.

The sundeck is a sanctuary in itself, framed by a central bar, inviting sofas, and sunpads that seem designed for endless afternoons beneath the sun. Yet the real fun begins at the inflatable pool that extends directly into the sea, creating a seamless playground of water and luxury. Beyond adrenaline, the floating palace is a haven of elegance and calm. Alfresco dining spaces are dotted across the decks, but the pièce de résistance is the formal dining room, where gourmet meals, lively conversation, and exquisite surroundings converge. Its circular, glass-walled design extends to the aft deck, which can be enclosed or opened to the elements.

The master suite is equally breathtaking, with an ensuite clad in marble, a Jacuzzi bath, and a glass-walled shower. For those who want a taste of Saban’s world, Eminence boasts a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles. The superyacht is currently cruising in idyllic Ibiza.

Haim Saban, the ranger who powered his way through life’s battles-

Eighty-year-old Saban is worth $3.3 billion according to Forbes. This number must be jaw-dropping for him, perhaps at times when he reminisces about his early days when Saban moved with his family to Tel Aviv and lived in a one-room flat. The maverick is known to turn every crisis into opportunity, whether in music or television. Once, Saban landed a booking for his band, but he didn’t have a band or play an instrument, so he founded a band on the spot.

The Chairman and CEO of Saban Capital LLC, a Los Angeles-based global investment firm, relocated to Los Angeles in the 1980s, where he shifted from music to television and children’s entertainment. This eventually led to him licensing the Japanese show Super Sentai, which he adapted into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993, a franchise that became a global phenomenon. The owner of a Gulfstream G650ER, never looked back but remembered his duty to do good for others while living his best life. Saban and his wife Cheryl started the Saban Family Foundation in 1999, supporting medical, children’s, and educational programs across the U.S. and Israel.
