Jaguar has released a teaser shot of its soon-to-be-launched E-Pace compact SUV ahead of its official unveil on the 13th July. The all-new model will be positioned below the F-Pace, becoming the second ever SUV to wear the Jaguar badge. The new compact SUV is expected to share its underpinnings with the Range Rover Evoque and the Land Rover Discovery Sport and serve as the high-riding counterpart to the Jaguar XE sedan. “Every Jaguar is designed to excite the senses, and we think E-PACE will do just that, albeit with its own individual character,” said Ian Callum, Director of Design for Jaguar.
Although Jaguar has not released any other photo except for the teaser shot, but the E-Pace has been caught in spy shots several times giving us a good idea about its shape and dimensions. The spy photos suggest the exterior styling to be very similar to its bigger sibling, the F-Pace, and a coupe-like shape with a fastback-style roof. The British marque revealed that the E-Pace will arrive in early 2018, with a starting price of $39,595. Additionally, Jaguar said that it will be powered by the company’s Ingenium line of turbocharged four-cylinders and will offer all-wheel drive as standard equipment.
