YouTuber Mat Armstrong has called this build one of the toughest he’s ever done, but thankfully it’s finally over. When we last covered the build, Armstrong had just got UK footballer Marcus Rashford’s $900,000 Mansory Rolls-Royce back on the road after a bad crash. Getting it running again was a monumental task, involving purchasing another running Rolls-Royce Wraith to use as a donor car.

While the car started and drove, it was far from perfect. As we know, Mat Armstrong is one of those rare automotive YouTubers for whom ‘runs and drives’ isn’t good enough. Getting into the specifics, Armstrong bought the crashed Mansory for $230,000, down from its original sticker price of $883,000. Adding to the cost of the $115,000 donor car is $65,000 in Mansory-specific parts that the team needed to complete the look and originality of the Mansory Wraith. This included the side skirts, each priced at over $9,000!

The team even had to cut away the entire rear section of the damaged Mansory, replacing it with the same section from the donor car. Monumental hurdles were crossed in fixing up the wiring and electronics of the Mansory Rolls-Royce, considering many of the electronics had been swapped out and needed to be re-coded painstakingly. Armstrong has chosen to replace the 21-inch Mansory wheels with custom 22-inch wheels with Armstrong’s initials on the wheel center caps to wrap up the build.

Armstrong has spent over $420,000 on this build but has ended up with a Mansory Rolls-Royce Wraith, with a clean title and just over 1,000 miles on the clock. The plan is to sell it and see how much he can make as a profit. Given Mansory’s reputation, something tells us that may be the biggest hurdle yet.
