SS Delphine steamship is up for a whopping $70 Million

Own a piece of history, which is not too dated to be used! Well, that is if you love the ocean and enjoy sailing in it in your own time. The SS Delphine, which is said to be one of the last great private steamships built in the 1920s for Horace Dodge, is up for grabs. Launched in 1921, this stunning 257-ft. yacht was crafted, keeping in mind everything a gentleman of luxury would care to have when on an adventure on the high seas.

The interiors of the vessel are courtesy of Tiffany & Co. The yacht can accommodate 26 guests and 28 crew members. Onboard is a music salon, a theater, a fitness center, a spa, a sauna room, a smoking room, a swimming pool, and the original fixtures of SS Delphine, including the telegraph machine in the mahogany pilothouse. The restoration cost has been estimated at $60 million, so a price tag of $70 million isn’t a bad bargain, right?
