The shipyard that built Saudi Crown Prince MBS’s superyacht has just floated out Four Seasons’ first luxury yacht. The 679-foot-long, $434 million vessel will undergo final construction for a year before it sets sail on its maiden voyage

The world of luxury yachting is abuzz with excitement as Four Seasons I celebrated its float-out at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard. This monumental step comes exactly a year before the vessel’s inaugural sailing, scheduled for January 25, 2026. Following this milestone, the ship will transition to a wet dock for its final construction phase. During this period, its opulent interiors will be meticulously crafted, with attention to details such as fixtures, fittings, and finishes for the suites, restaurants, and public spaces.

This milestone represents a major step toward delivering Four Seasons’ unparalleled service and legendary experiences to the high seas. With the countdown to January 2026 officially underway, Four Seasons I is poised to redefine luxury cruising. Guests can look forward to signature suites with uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling ocean views, walk-in closets, expansive private terrace decks featuring splash pools and loungers, and ample space for entertaining.

Offering 50 percent more living space per guest than the industry standard, the Four Seasons I sets a new benchmark for opulence and comfort, according to Pax News. The 679-foot vessel, with a volume of 34,000 GT, will house 95 luxurious suites, each with spacious balconies.

Its crown jewel, the Funnel Suite, is a multi-level, nearly 5,000-square-foot space designed to provide unmatched lounging in Four Seasons’ signature style. However, while the $330,000 per-week price tag offers breathtaking views and unparalleled luxury, gastronomes may find the inclusions underwhelming, as only breakfast, coffee, soda, and gratuities are provided with the suite.

Guests will also enjoy an array of fine dining restaurants, a large spa, family-friendly areas for children, and a marina equipped for boating and water activities. A serene 66-foot pool, perfect for soaking up the sun, is another highlight. Designer Fredrik Johansson of Tillberg Design of Sweden has drawn inspiration from the glamour of Aristotle Onassis’ iconic superyacht Christina O and the jet-setting lifestyle of James Bond, making the Four Seasons I a true masterpiece of elegance and sophistication.

Come 2026, the first Four Seasons yacht will set sail for the Caribbean and Mediterranean, with its ten inaugural voyages already revealed. However, securing a suite is an exclusive affair. According to Bloomberg, frequent Four Seasons guests will be given priority for reservations, with interested parties required to place a $10,000 deposit per suite to join the waitlist.
