Discover local food experiences with Four Seasons – Taste of Place

If you would like to take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the local food scene, Four Seasons has launched the “Taste of Place” where you can discover a curated collection of immersive culinary and beverage experiences at their participating hotels and resorts. Guests and local gourmands can step “behind-the-scenes,” and take a look at diverse local culinary practices and traditions. You can walk, talk, shop, and cook with local food vendors, farmers, butchers, distillers, and mixologists. As part of your exclusive experience, you get to also visit regional breweries and vineyards or if fishing is your thing, you could try your hand at deep-sea fishing. If you would like to learn to mix a drink or two, there’s also farm-to-bar mixology classes for you. Not just that, several itineraries will be in unique settings with remarkable landscape views. Food with a good view, what more could you ask for?

Here are some of your choices:

High Altitude Dining – From Glacial Peak Aperitifs to a Panoramic Mountain View (Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler): You will be whisked away via helicopter to the Pemberton Icecap, where you can gather pure glacier ice to use in a cocktail mixology class. The Resort’s lead mixologist will create signature specialties that you can down while taking in the beauty of Whistler’s mountain peaks. Once back at the resort, have a memorable dinner boasting locally sourced ingredients and premium cuts complemented by sweeping panoramic views.
