New for charter – superyacht NIRVANA offers the Maldives Vacation of Your Wildest Dreams

Earlier this spring renowned yacht brokerage Y.CO announced a newcomer to its impressive yacht charter fleet. New to the market for 2019, Oceanco-built superyacht NIRVANA promises charter guests a private island resort experience in the Maldives, with no limits to where you can explore. MY NIRVANA’s incredible amenities, rainforest-inspired design, child-friendly features and crew that knows the Maldives like the back of their hand, makes us sure that her charter season will fill up fast. Here’s what you need to know…

Meet your all-access pass to the Maldives: superyacht NIRVANA

Luxury around every corner
With six opulent staterooms (sleeping up to twelve guests) and six levels to match, Superyacht NIRVANA has something to excite everyone. Glamorous entertaining areas – including a glittering swimming pool that converts to a dance floor or a stage, and a salon that transforms into a disco area on request – will make socialities swoon. A large dining table, where up to 18 guests can enjoy gourmet meals whipped up by a personal chef, is ideal for dinner parties that last long into the night.

Those who prefer a more tranquil charter can look forward to enjoying private massages in the dedicated room onboard; basking in the spacious sauna; taking in stunning sea views in the alfresco plunge pool; toasting the good life on the private master deck; and watching a movie in the 3D cinema. There are also sun loungers and areas for soaking up those tropical rays spread across all five of the yacht’s decks, meaning guests are never short of places to relax.

Her six-level layout is connected by a silver-engraved elevator, meaning that superyacht NIRVANA is fully-accessible. And when you finally manage to drag yourself off the vessel, a fully-certified helipad – alongside multiple tenders – offers endless opportunities for adventure.

Inspired by the rainforest
NIRVANA was delivered by Oceanco in 2012, with exterior and interior design by renowned naval architect Sam Sorgiovanni. The yacht itself is a great example of the high-quality craftsmanship and open-minded thinking that Oceanco shipyard claims as its specialities. Stepping inside, it is clear that nature was Sorgiovanni’s inspiration; guests will feel like they’re living in (an extremely glamorous version of) the Maldivian rainforest, surrounded by natural materials such as teak, woven bronze, silk, and onyx. Those onboard can also admire the local wildlife without even leaving the yacht, with one aquarium and two reptile houses home to chameleons, lizards, water dragons, and turtles.

At the same time, contemporary, comfortable furnishings, spacious rooms, and neutral tones provide a calming balance; bright dashes of green meet earthy browns, light camels and stony greys. This versatile décor makes superyacht NIRVANA ideal for anything from chilling out on a sunbed with a book to hosting a Champagne-fuelled soirée.

The go-to family superyacht
Based in the Maldives from March through to June, this 88.5m yacht is aimed at families who want to enjoy their spring break in style. And with a staggering 28 crew onboard – all who seek to attend to your every need, and who have a knowledge of the islands that would put locals to shame – Y.CO promises you will “discover a Maldives that is not accessible to the average tourist.”

Learning to dive as a family, again taught by one of the experienced crew members, and spotting some of the incredibly colorful sea life, from the spotfin lionfish to the oriental sweetlip? Superyacht NIRVANA can take you there.

Those with younger children will also be pleased to know that the decks can be covered with an optional protective netting, ensuring an ultra-safe cruise. Meanwhile, for older kids who crave adrenaline, NIRVANA’s large tender garage holds a plethora of child-friendly water toys.
