New pictures of Sindalah island show the iron-clad determination of Saudi Crown Prince MBS. In just two years, he transformed the 840,000-square-meter man-made island from a bustling construction site with thousands of workers to a luxury destination

With Sindalah open and a string of photographs doing the rounds on social media, there is much hoopla about the first completed project of Saudi Crown Prince MBS’ $1.5 trillion Neom City. Images reveal a stunning Sindalah Island designed by Italian studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture perched in the middle of azure blue waters.

The visuals are striking, revealing a luxury island destination that has it all, from an 86-berth marina, a world-class golf club, a state-of-the-art spa, and vibrant social spaces like The Village and Promenade. A series of images on X, formerly known as Twitter, show the beautiful location shining bright under the sun, looking serene as the sun sets and dazzling under the stars.

What is impressive is a lineup of more than 15 yachts of various sizes anchored at various spots. Rightly called the gateway to the Red Sea, the destination offers 440 rooms, 88 villas, and more than 200 serviced apartments and will cater to 2,400 visitors per day by 2028. Superyacht owners will especially have the time of their lives on Sindalah, which boasts a world-class yacht club, the highlight of the marina.

Featuring a terrace, outdoor pool, relaxation lounge, and fine dining restaurant, the club complements the marina’s mooring facilities and berths. The 840,000-square-meter island opened on October 25 with much pomp and flair as the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman hosted a mega party, inviting influencers and financiers from across the world.

In no time, the Tabuk Province became a venue of activity, with superyachts from across the world flocking to the seahorse-shaped luxury island. The charm of Sindalah is turning out to be incredibly irresistible, with a whopping 50 yachts anchored at the mouth of the Red Sea, waiting to dock at the stylish new destination.
