Montblanc unveils the TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph ahead of SIHH 2016

Chronographs are universal favorites, owing to the fact that they’re chunky, eye-catching and display an overload of information. One of the newest chronographs on the block to grab our attention is the Montblanc TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph Limited Edition 100. Apart from the fact that the watch has a significantly long name, what also makes it special is its extremely unconventional dial setup. Using the Montblanc caliber MB R230 movement, this watch sports a 44mm three-part case made from a unique mix of materials, including titanium, carbon fibre and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon).

The top part of the watch’s dial hosts the primary time display, which also includes the date indicator ring and a small red-tipped pointer hand. The dial’s lower section displays two semi-circular counters that use double indication hands, the one at 8 o’clock for the elapsed-seconds and the one at 4 o’clock for the elapsed-minutes. Covering the dial is a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatments that offers great visibility as well as a scratch-resistance. The total thickness of the watch measures in at 16.27 mm and black alligator strap with red stitching compliments this timepiece. Montblanc will sell only 100 pieces of the TimeWalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph, making this watch a connoisseur’s dream.
