Baselworld, the year’s second major watch fair featuring the biggest names in the world of haute horology, begins today and Rolex will arrive at the expo with a very attractive and sporty new version of the Rolex Yacht-Master timepiece. Dubbed the Rolex Yacht-Master “Everose,” the new iteration features an 18ct Everose gold Oyster case and a new Cerachrom insert in black ceramic, with polished raised numerals on a matte black background. The new Yacht‑Master will be offered in two sizes: 40 mm and a new 37 mm diameter.
The 18k Everose gold Yacht-Master case is matched to an innovative Oysterflex bracelet developed and patented by Rolex and exclusive to this timepiece. The avant-garde bracelet combines the robustness and reliability of a metal bracelet with the flexibility, comfort and aesthetics of a rubber strap. At its core lies a superelastic metal blade overmoulded with high-performance black elastomer. The bracelet resembles a rubber strap, while its resistance is comparable to that of a metal bracelet. The pricing has not been revealed as of yet.
