Celebrate the life and times of Sir Winston Churchill with the Churchill’s London package at The Wellesley

Overlooking The Royal Hyde Park, The Wellesley, London’s first boutique grand hotel, is celebrating the life of Sir Winston Churchill with a the ‘Churchill’s London’ package. 75 years after Churchill became Prime Minister, the city of London will mark Churchill 2015 – a year of international celebration of the life and legacy of Sir. Winston Churchill.

The Churchill’s London package allows guests to enjoy a one night stay for two people in The Wellesley’s sumptuous Churchill Suite , which features its own staircase and private terrace at the highest point of the hotel; a full English breakfast with a bespoke Churchill blend from the hotel’s Tea Connoisseur; a cigar and cognac tasting with the hotel’s Cigar Sommelier at The Wellesley’s Cigar Lounge and Terrace, focusing on Churchill’s favorite cigar brands including Romeo y Julieta followed by his favorite Martini. The popular Cigar Lounge boasts of a climate controlled room with the largest hotel humidor in Europe, showcasing over £1.5 million ($2.3 million) worth of the world’s finest cigars, many of the cigars being limited edition.

Guests will also be given tickets to the Churchill War Rooms at the Imperial War Museum in Westminster and have access to a 24-hour butler service who will provide uncompromising service standards, fit for a British leader. The historic package is priced at £2,850 ($4,468) and is available until October 31, 2015.
