A new month, a new motoryacht, this seems to be the mantra for Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s almost impossible to call the Revenant actor an eco-champion when his superyacht escapades continue to make headlines. After basking in the idyllic beauty of Ibiza in August, accompanied by his best friend Tobey Maguire and model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti aboard the superyacht Vava (formerly Drizzle), rumors suggest that the actor may hop aboard the Impromptu yacht in Elba for his next sea-faring adventure.
While there have been no confirmed sightings yet, DiCaprio’s presence in Milan has already stirred the rumor mill, particularly with Impromptu moored at the Medici dock in Portoferraio, Elba, as of September 19th. According to Il Telegrafo, fans have started gathering around the 164-foot yacht, hoping to catch a glimpse of the 47-year-old star.
Leonardo DiCaprio is currently attending Milan Fashion Week, where his model girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, graced the Max Mara runway. The actor chose to have a discreet meal at Bacaro Montenapoleone, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. However, it was his heartfelt thank-you note, a sweet gesture for the restaurant staff, that confirmed his presence in the city and sparked speculation about his next move. With Elba just a short hop away and the beloved charter yacht Impromptu poised for another adventure, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Titanic star gives in to temptation and embarks on a luxurious sail.
This isn’t the first time DiCaprio has been linked to Impromptu. He first chartered the striking Trinity Yachts superyacht in July 2017, enjoying its six staterooms, split-level master suite, waterfall pool, BBQ area, and large alfresco dining space.
Joined by celebrity friends like Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly, the group made full use of the yacht’s extensive collection of water toys, including a water slide, WaveRunners, and SeaBobs. The vessel also features a wine cellar, gym, and Jacuzzi, all available for a cool weekly rental of $255,000.
According to Marine Traffic, the vessel is en route to Porto Venere, at the time of writing. It remains unclear if the so-called climate champion is on board, enjoying the picturesque surroundings while paradoxically contributing to his growing carbon footprint.
