Cara Delevingne is designing for DKNY. And fans can join her in the campaign by posting a pic online!

Like us, have you been tracking Cara’s every move too, over the past months (and, in some cases, hoping to be more like her)? After the Cara for Mulberry bag collection, the creative geniuses over at DKNY seem to have sensed that as well! There could not be a better explanation to why Donna Karan’s mainline label has asked the très chic model to design a 15-piece collection.

“They always encouraged my design input, my personal style, and my ideas,” she said. Borrowing from Cara Delevingne’s own personal style, read: sweatsuit, tank tops, beanies, et al, the collection will kick in the British model’s signature designs. Other, “mostly unisex” pieces will include a leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves. “DKNY is urban and edgy, but, most of all, it’s individual. They truly embrace the weirdness in all of us, so you can really be yourself.”

But, and this is the biggest surprise of all, the model’s holding an Insta-contest to cast two or three fans in the campaign shoot. All one’s got to do is “post a pic of yourself looking fresh to your Instagram and tag #CaraD4DKNY and #CaraWantsYou.” So if you want to join Cara in New York, you have until Sunday, 16 June. “Get Ready!!! It’s Coming… #Cara4DKNY” and it’s coming at the end of October in stores and online, with beanies costing about $70 and tees at $150.
