Givenchy partners with Onitsuka Tiger for the exclusive Mexico 66 GDX sneaker


In a first of sorts – Givenchy has partnered with Japan’s Onitsuka Tiger for a pair of sneakers that will quite likely blow your mind away. In combining the appeal of a luxury fashion brand with the quality and aesthetics of the most celebrates shoe manufacturer, Givenchy and Onitsuka come together for a sensational collaboration on the Mexico 66 GDX Sneaker.


Emblazoned with co-branding in monochrome hues, the special shoe boasts of Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller’s favorite “Nippon Made” and is available in two iconic colorways. The first, an all-white version features the classic Onitsuka Tiger stripes on the sides with a luxe “GIVENCHY” branding on the medial end. It’s counterpart – an all-black shoe comes with a thick white outline to represent the Onitsuka Branding on the lateral along with contrasting red details on the heel panel.

Each of the variants showcases co-branding on the back tab and come in a unique packaging that represents both quality and supreme make that the marquees stand for. Available in limited numbers, exclusive Mexico 66 GDX sneaker retails at $550 USD and is currently available on Givenchy’s web store as well as at official Onitsuka and Givenchy outlets worldwide.
