Nike paves way for its first-ever maternity collection dubbed Nike (M)

Pregnant women have an array of physical, emotional changes laid out for them in the due course of their pregnancies. Women, often hit a pause button on their exercise routines owing to a lack of options for maternity workout gear. The fitness range available in stores doesn’t cater to their growing belly or for the support they require to pull off a fitness routine. This is the void that will soon be filled by fitness brand Nike that is set to debut its first dedicated maternity collection, dubbed “Nike (M)”. The collection supports women during all stages of pregnancy and beyond by collecting detailed feedback on fit, feel, and function from nearly 30 female athletes who were pregnant or postpartum. The four-piece collection includes the Nike (M) Pullover, the Nike (M) Swoosh Bra, the Nike (M) Tank, and Nike One (M) Tight. The pieces are designed keeping the needs of a pregnant or a new mother’s needs in mind; for instance, the Nike (M) sports bra is great because it’ll give easy access to a breastfeeding mom. The leggings can be worn over the tummy or showing your tummy, and the maternity shirt has this extra material for the extra weight. At the end of it all, you do not compromise with your routines and continue to look smart and stay active whilst training indoors or outdoors.

Nike (M), is set to launch in North America, Europe, and Africa on Sept. 17. The Nike One (M) Tight sells for $73, Nike (M) Pullover for $93, Nike (M) Swoosh Bra for $53, and the Nike (M) Tank for roughly $43.
