In previous lists they’ve included a ticket to the Grammys and a journey to the edge of space. From collectible toys to one-of-a-kind experiences, Neiman Marcus has once again put together a collection of gifts that’s imaginative, interesting and very, very expensive.
Madame Alexander dolls for a year + one custom creation, $8000
The gifting begins with 8 dolls in December and then one every month for the next 11 months. The dolls take on various forms from well-known storybook characters like Alice in Wonderland and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz to princesses and royalty. Also included is the Grand Anniversary Dollhouse from KidKraft. The most impressive though element though, is the final doll which will be custom created for the recipient who will be consulted on the hair color, eye color, and outfit design of the toy.
A private flight & photo session with Gray Malin, $35,000
Fine art photographer Gray Malin is famous for his aerial scenes but for one hour, your giftee will have his expertise all to themselves. The session takes place in a helicopter as it soars over the beaches of Los Angeles and Malibu. After Malin takes the perfect shot, he and the giftee will return to his studio to edit and perfect it after which the lucky will get a signed and framed version of the personalized picture. The experience also includes a 2 night stay at an Oceanside resort in Santa Monica.
