From suitcases for humans to those for wine bottles – Rimowa seems to be on the roll! The marquee has recently unveiled a twelve-bottle case for wine enthusiasts in collaboration with Wine Access. Yes, you read that right! The novel case features a familiar aluminum body along with a highly specialized design that is perfected by expert engineers. Much like the standard Rimowa suitcases, this one too is interposed by corners of high gloss aluminum and can be carried with a handle of black leather.

On the inside, it boasts a highly customized interior with a carefully crafted system of padded cushions of varied thicknesses to help keep the bottles in place according to their size. An integrated support system further keeps the case stable along with safety bars that secure the bottles during transport.

Commenting on it, Rimowa’s design team in a statement said: ‘Long-time friend of the brand LeBron James spotted a stackable archival case that stored wine bottles and glasses…Together with RIMOWA engineers, the process of innovation began. With LeBron tracking the progression of its design, the RIMOWA Twelve Bottle Case Silver came to fruition.’
