Vintage Louis Vuitton: Check out this travelling bar from the ‘80s that’s up for grabs

The trouble with building extensive collections of anything is that you really can’t flaunt them the way you like. But now a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk has surfaced online allowing you to carry the best bottles from your spirits collection wherever you go!

This cognac colored trunk was made to order years ago in the 1980s and functions as a portable bar. They are supposedly very rare these days and contain a silver-topped whisky carafe, four tumblers, a thermos lined ice bucket, a small dish, a set of tongs and a corkscrew. These items are created from Sterling silver and bear the mark of Christofle for Louis Vuitton.

The mini-trunk is in near-perfect condition with an Epi leather exterior and features gold plated hardware. On the inside, the case boasts a deep green lining in alcantara and grained leather. The item is available on 1st dibs and the Pullman Gallery with an ominous “price on request” label but given its amazing condition and resale value, it will probably be worth every penny you pay.
