Marantz to launch UD9004 Universal Blu-ray desk

Like Denon and Oppo, there is yet another company Marantz, vouching for the Universal Blu-Ray desk, which is being built upon the technology inside their reference SADC-CD player, SA-7S1. It’s another D&M Holdings product that targets high-end audio-video enthusiasts who don’t mind splurging a bit for their interests. It will feature the company’s proprietary Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM) technology, Dual-SHARK HD audio processing, BD-Live, 10-bit Silicon Optix Realta Chipset, 36 bit color/297MHz/14 bit Video DAC, and it also has an SD card slot. There is no information on the pricing and availability for the UD9004, and it isn’t set to be launched anytime soon, either.
