This Russian company is selling an iPhone 12 Pro that is essentially a 1-kg brick of 24k gold


If owning the best smartphones in the market isn’t enough for you, Caviar has decked the iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra in pure gold. The limited-edition phones are a collector’s dream and make for a royal style statement.

Enamored with the purest 24-carat gold, the first time the brand has used purest 999.9 gold instead of 18-carat gold, a more relevant and practical choice and has been used for most of its the customized editions by the brand.

Designed in the shape of gold bars of 1kg each, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S21 retain most features although the cameras are a tad bit compromised for incorporating the aesthetic element. The Caviar logo is emblazoned on the back, with the word “Fine Gold 999.9” and the device’s weight engraved alongside.

The luxurious phones come packaged in a white case-safe that is fastened with a combination lock for safekeeping. Limited to seven pieces each, the Gold iPhone 12 Pro is priced at $159,000, while the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra retails at $169,000. Both the models are currently available for purchase on Caviar’s official website.
