If the ultra-luxurious Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives has US Open Champion Daniil Medvedev, Aman, a luxury destination par excellent, has roped in former elite athlete Maria Sharapova in a multi-year partnership. In a first-of-its-kind deal, Global Wellness Ambassador Sharapova will co-create a series of wellness retreats across different Aman properties, focusing on preparation, performance, and recovery to encompass body and mind.
The long-standing admirer of Aman will bring her knowledge first at the flagship property, Amanpuri Phuket, in February 2024. The elite athlete will curate and mentor participants through a series of interactive experiences and conduct informative sessions with industry experts in attendance known to Sharapova for over two decades. A half-day wellness immersion has also been created at Aman Spa New York, which Maria curated to launch the partnership.
The day kickstarts with an optimized performance breakfast at Arva, followed by Maria’s hour-long strength and conditioning session. Rejuvenation is close behind in the form of the Banya treatment, reflexology, and Aman 111Skin mask in the spa.
