A new spa in Paris is promising a whole host of extravagant treatments that include ultra-luxe ingredients like Champagne, caviar and gold. The treatment menu at Le Spa, which is part of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, will boast the extravagant “George V Escape by Dr. Pauline Burgener” – a treatment that has been created exclusively for this spa. It is described as a “luxurious antioxidant treatment combines a Chardonnay body scrub, a massage with Champagne oil, and a facial harnessing the antioxidant power of gold, Chardonnay and green caviar. A sweet treat of a Four Seasons Hotel George V macaron and a glass of Champagne complete this uniquely Parisian experience.”
Even if this luxurious (and no doubt expensive!) treatment is not for you, you won’t be able to resist the charming spa which features a gorgeous pastel pink Hammam (and a separate one for men), a swimming pool and separate vitality pool. There’s a spa suite for couple treatments and 5 single rooms to enjoy their wide array of pampering face and body treatments.
Even though the spa is stunning to look at, we’re a little skeptical of their star treatments. What exactly is “Champagne oil”? What are the skin benefits of Chardonnay? And are they talking about real caviar or the algae called green caviar? Hmm, Four Seasons, we need some answers.
