The Chanel Spa at the Ritz Paris has been open for a few months, but details about this beauty and wellness mecca are still scarce. The exclusivity factor is so high that securing an appointment is practically a mission impossible. In fact, in confirmation of your appointment, the spa actually sends you an invitation! So when Allure scored a coveted invitation to visit the Chanel au Ritz, they decided to share their experience through a video that stars model Katie Moore.
The tour begins with Katie skipping through the foyer and eventually we find her at the spa’s beauty boutique which features a neat display of Chanel products including their fragrances. After confirming her appointment, she fills out a questionnaire and is led to cabin 5 where her treatment is set to take place.
Moore tried out the Grand Soin which a 2-3 hour treatment that incorporates luxurious Chanel products from the brand’s Sublimage, Hydra Beauty, Le Lift, and Le Blanc skincare ranges. The Grand Soin is the spa’s signature treatment and includes a massage and a facial. Chanel has created five bespoke body oils for their massages. Each treatment is customized for the client and uses only Chanel products.
After the treatment, Katie concludes the experience with a dip in the extremely photogenic pool which incorporated over 180,000 tiles in different shades of blue. The two-story pool area feels palatial thanks to the white columns and the magnificent double staircase that it faces. Sitting by the pool Moore also sampled nonalcoholic beauty cocktails which is one of four that the spa offers.
The black and white color scheme, the clean lines, and the elegance of design all seem to pay tribute to Coco Chanel herself. The spa – at least what we’ve seen so far- is a fitting tribute to the long-time resident of the Ritz Paris.
