This $80K Steampunk inspired Baron Safe-Box by Boca do Lobo is a treat for the eyes

Steampunk which started off as a subgenre of science fiction writing that typically features steam-powered machinery and has a distinct 19th century industrialization era flavor to it has become a huge fashion trend in the recent times. According to IBM, “Steampunk will be a major trend to bubble up, and take hold of the retail industry.” And when it comes to capturing the latest trends, no one does it better than Boca do Lobo Design Studio. The design house has given us some of the most exquisite luxury safe-boxes like the gilded luxury Millionaire safe box, and now they have come up with another masterpiece designed in a Victorian futuristic style and inspired by traditional Swiss watch making techniques. The Baron Luxury private safe-box exudes of top-notch craftsmanship and has an uber-luxe appeal to it.

“This steampunk safe was created to be the ideal place to keep the most exclusive jewelry and other unique pieces safe from the outside world while embodying the true essence of the new hyper-luxury trend. The jewelry safe is in itself a refined work of art with a personality of its own that will add an extra touch of exclusivity to any room,” reads the official description from the company. The Baron safe-box has a wooden structure which is lined with polished brass. The brass and stainless steel gears and the rest of the mechanisms are visible from the outside and the opening system operates with an automatic engine that works with a remote. The company also offers the option to further customize the safe as per request on additional charge. It is priced at € 59,160 ($82,000 approx).
