A cat named Benson is ruffling some whiskers on Instagram. He is charming, loves fashion and proudly glamourous in front of a camera. He is no regular cat, and neither is he some character from Murakami’s fragments of imagination.
Benson is a cat, very literally, and a handsome one at that. Five years ago while strolling the scorched streets of Dubai, when a kind human spotted him and took pity in the feline. He searched high and dry for Benson’s owner until he found out that they had left him behind and left the country all together.
Unlike many humans who usually strike gold landing in Dubai, this feline friend had to exit the country for his stars to shine. After he moved to the US with his adoptive parents, his life took a sharp U-turn when both he and his folks realised he had what it took to be a model.
He’s been it all – an artist, a chef, a detective and what not it was during one random day of photos that his adoptive father learned his fascination for glasses. Soon he became the street cat called Benson painting Instagram all shades of amusement.
