A successful Hong Kong executive has purchased a 6,700 sq. ft. apartment on New York’s Fifth Avenue for $61.58 million. The full-floor apartment in Aman New York was initially listed for $70 million.


New York’s luxury property market is booming, and Terence Chan, a Hong Kong-based private equity executive, is playing a significant role in it. The affluent Asian has purchased a full-floor apartment at Aman New York, a luxury condominium and hotel on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, for a cool $61.58 million (it was listed for $70M). The 6,300-square-foot unit features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a library, and a home office.

As reported by WSJ, the lavish residence, known as 24A, is the only one on its floor and is part of the luxury tower Aman New York, a hotel and condo project in Midtown. With a total of 22 apartments, the structure is located across the street from Trump Tower at 730 Fifth Avenue. The Crown Building was originally made in the 1920s, with a copper pinnacle for its crowning glory.
