The Depp vs. Heard trial had kept audiences hooked for the past few days. And while it’s now come to an end, fans can’t seem to get enough of the star’s whereabouts. In giving you’ll scoop on this, we have news of Ms. Heard’s new home, which is also anticipated to be her hideout spot.
We’re talking about the actor’s residence in Yucca Valley, California, which she also confirmed as part of her opening testimony. The house comes minus the usual frills and fancy and is indeed a desert retreat with arid surroundings, no malls nearby, and a tiny population.
It is part of a six-acre estate and was purchased by Heard through a trust in 2019. However, as per reports, she only moved in there recently. It is also said that the actor has shifted there to avoid media attention that has been coming her way since the defamation trial began.
The home by itself spreads over 2,400 square feet and is indeed loved by Heard. A source close to her revealed: “Amber loves spending time in the desert. It’s the one place she can get away from everything. She’s really connected with the artistic community there and feels she experiences a true getaway.”
The source further added, “Joshua Tree is full of cool hipsters, and it’s just her scene. She can get away from it all, and it’s a sanctuary.” The property features a custom-built 110-feet-long bridge that leads to a mountainside gazebo, solid iron front doors, a surround stereo system wired throughout the home, and a 1,200-square-foot garage.
It is a five-minute drive to the Hawk’s Landing Golf Club and comes with a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a wet bar, breakfast seating, a soaking tub and rain shower in the primary room, and an expansive patio overlooking the mountains.
After all, Heard has still got the luxe going!
