Review: I was preening like a goddess at Nailology, Atlantis The Palm – Dubai’s coolest nail bar till date

A set of bright, beautiful nails is the best way to get into the holiday mindset, whether heading out on an extended trip or preparing for a weekend excursion! So when I tried Nailology, the newest and sassiest address at Atlantis The Palm, its colorful, Instagrammable space, bespoke treatments, and delectable cocktails sure cast a spell on the beauty junkie in me.

The architecture of the space itself is embedded with elite interiors (think neon glow signs).
As the only nail bar in Dubai with in-salon mixologists, this one is as exciting as it can get. I was pampered with the Gold Goddess treatment that included a decadent amber-infused mask, scrub and cream by Spalinea, a golden patch for my eyes, a blissful 20-minute massage with an amber sphere, and argan oil, golden soak, nail polish, mocktail/cocktail, Elim golden finishing spray.

I showed up with banged up feet, with blisters and bruised toenails, open-toed shoes were out of the question for the foreseeable future. My polite therapist sensed my embarrassment and put me immediately at ease. First, she buffed and shaped what was left of my toenails and was extremely gentle through the process. She gently removed the dead skin and smoothed rough and dry spots- something I dread so much during pedicures.

With its nourishing and beautifying goodness, the foot and hand scrub proved to be not just another scrub but actually helped remove the tan. This was followed by an incredibly relaxing toe-to-knee and hand massage that almost put me to sleep. By the end of the treatment, my skin was soft and glowing, and my toenails have never been so pleasantly pink and shiny. Overall, I loved how the treatment focused on skin and nails and relaxation using a synchronized massage technique, while the expert also worked to remedy my dry skin.

The nail bar uses some top-notch Elim products for the Diamond In The Rough manicures and pedicures, including scrub, mask, and cream for a few treatments, as well as the Elim Gold Spritz at the end of some treatments. As for nail polish, bespoke brands like CND VINYLUX and Essie Couture are used. A separate line of products that are used for children is Ella+Mila, a cruelty-free and Vegan polish. Overall, the space has 3 pedicure stations and 6 manicure stations.

Another indulging treatment to try here is the Once Upon A Time that includes a Vanilla soak with rose, Vanilla & Marshmallow scrub, mask and cream by Coral Bliss, 30-minute shoulder, neck and scalp massage, nail polish, mocktail/cocktail, Elim golden finishing spray.

The experience of Nailology is hard to match! I love how the cocktail/mocktail has been expertly crafted for taste and serves as the best prop to Instagram’s beautiful nail art. With drop-dead gorgeous talons and preening at its core, this has to be my best nail spa experience in Dubai, a city that is known for its superlatives.
