BMW has come up with two new special edition cars which have been built specifically for audiophiles who want only the best sound system packaged along with top-notch performance in their automobiles. Dubbed the Bang & Olufsen editions, BMW’s in-house personalization program “Individual” has created the two special editions which are based on the BMW 6-Series and BMW M6 Gran Coupe. As the name suggests, both the cars pack special Bang & Ofulsen surround sound system in addition to host of custom design elements and features. BMW Individual is known for packing their cars with special selection of interior and exterior colors along with top quality equipment features and trims and the Bang & Olufsen editions are no different. Both the variants on the exterior sport a special Sophisto Grey metallic paint finish.
On the inside, the cabin features a two-tone color scheme which is embellished with fine-grain Merino leather in Opal White and black. Both the variants also come with Alcantara headliner in Anthracite and interior trim in Black Piano finish. Coming to the sound system, the cars are equipped with a Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system that includes 16 active loudspeakers finished in a fine-brushed Black trim, along with BeoPlay H6 headphones and a BMW Individual cupholder with the Bang & Olufsen signet. Production is limited to 110 vehicles in total out of which there will 100 BMW 650i Gran Coupemodels equipped with either rear wheel drive or BMW xDrive all-wheel drive and powered by the BMW TwinPower Turbo V-8 and only 10 BMW M6 Gran Coupes equipped with Competition Package. The pricing and the availability is yet to be announced.
