This year marks the 175th anniversary of Riva, a legendary Italian shipyard founded in 1842 by Pietro Riva in Sarnico – a town on the shores of Lake Iseo in Italy. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the company has partnered with Fiat to introduce a limited edition version of the Abarth 695. Called the Abarth 695 Rivale 175th Anniversary, the celebratory edition’s production is limited to 175 units for the fixed-head and 175 examples of the convertible body style.
The special edition is available in a single dual-tone paint scheme that combines Riva Sera Blue and Shark Grey paint. An aquamarine beltline pinstripe separates the two colors.
To complement the exterior, the cabin is upholstered in blue leather. The hand-stitched leather seats feature details like two-tone hand stitching that matches the exterior paint scheme. The seats also get a celebratory logo stitched onto the headrest. Additionally, the interior offers a carbon dashboard silk screen printed with a special logo and a special numbered plate.
A 7.0-inch Uconnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone mirroring comes as standard. Under the hood is a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine fitted with an Akrapovic exhaust system. The engine can produce 180 horsepower, enough to propel the special edition from zero to 62mph in 6.7 seconds on the way to hitting a top speed of 140mph.
