After taking the wraps off the all-new Flying Spur, Bentley announces the arrival of the Flying Spur First Edition that will make its debut at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala on 24th July. The first example of the limited edition will also be auctioned at the event, with all proceeds going to the foundation. The First Edition will enter production by the end of 2019 and will be limited to just 12 months of production, making it rare and highly collectible. Top separate it from the regular Bentley Flying Spur, the special edition features quite a few unique touches to make it more exclusive. On the outside, the First Edition features a unique exterior badge, a Union Jack flag with the numeral 1 in the center that can be found on the C-pillars and 22-inch Mulliner Specification wheels. The electronic Flying B mascot has illuminated wings and retracts when the car is locked.
Inside the cabin, the First Edition Bentley Winged Emblem is embroidered into the headrests while the instrument panel also gets another Union Jack badge. Panoramic roof and mood lighting come standard along with the Touring Specification, which includes a head-up display, lane assist, night vision, and adaptive cruise control. The luxury limo is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine that produces 626 horsepower and 605 pound-foot of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission which sends the power to all four wheels. The 2020 Bentley Flying Spur can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 207 mph.
