If there’s one thing the world loves more than gambling, it’s figuring out ways to beat the odds. Two YouTubers have done just that, convincing the security guards at the Casino De Monte Carlo, the world’s most famous casino, that their fake Bugatti was worth entry into the high-rollers’ haven.

Retali8, a UK-based car accessories brand, and EricG drove their fake Bugatti and fake Ferrari over 20 hours from Manchester to Monaco to try and pull off the stunt.

The fake Bugatti is based on a Ford StreetKa, with the hilarious conversion documented on the YouTube channel. Finished in red and black with the iconic Bugatti horseshoe grille, we’re pretty sure no one who’s anything but legally blind would be fooled. Except, the fake Bugatti got a lot of eyeballs, presumably just for the sheer gumption of trying to pull a fast one on the entire city of Monaco.

The YouTubers even took the fake Bugatti to the most famous corner in Monaco, part of the F1 street track. They attempted to roll it over, to tribute the Citroen Ami that went viral for tipping over in that very corner. Of course, a couple of supercar spotters filmed the fake Bugatti understeering around the corner, and it went viral, leading to a couple of hilarious encounters with the local police who recognised the car. The duo even sneaked past security gates to drive their fake supercars to the port where multimillion-dollar super yachts are moored.

The highlight of the video is, of course, the fake Bugatti being allowed to park alongside millions of dollars’ worth of luxury cars and supercars in front of the Casino De Monte Carlo. It appears a friendly security guard at the casino decided to humour the duo.

We’re thankful he did, the visual of the fake Bugatti in a parking space reserved for the richest of millionaires is one no one’s forgetting soon. To think, residents of Monaco are so used to seeing millionaires in Bugatti hypercars, a regular dude in a botched, dodgy Ford StreetKa with a Bugatti badge gets more attention!
