Not a monogrammed golf bag or a fancy champagne, but lucky billionaires who have booked the $4 million Bugatti Tourbillon will receive this hand-crafted 1:6 scale model of the hypercar’s V16 engine which itself costs more than an actual Toyota Camry

A video shared by Andreas Stirn from Bugatti Düsseldorf on Instagram has caught the attention of automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike. In the short clip, Stirn is seen unboxing a stunning and highly exclusive 1:6 scale model of the Bugatti Tourbillon’s V16 engine. The model is a gift reserved for customers who have placed an order for the upcoming Tourbillon hypercar, and it is crafted by none other than Amalgam Collection, the renowned UK-based maker of precision scale models.

Amalgam Collection has long been celebrated for its ability to turn some of the world’s most iconic cars and engines into true miniature works of art. Each piece is hand-crafted with obsessive attention to detail, often taking hundreds of hours to build. Their work is often found in the collections of serious car enthusiasts, and this Bugatti V16 engine model is no exception.

The model itself is an exact 1:6 scale replica of the revolutionary naturally aspirated V16 engine at the heart of the Bugatti Tourbillon. Every line, bolt, and curve has been reproduced to perfection. Even the carbon fiber engine cover has been replicated with astonishing accuracy, highlighting the same complex geometry and woven texture found in the full-size version. It is a model not just of an engine, but of a philosophy—a symbol of engineering ambition, performance, and design at the highest level.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri Engine replica

While Bugatti has not revealed the price of the model, since it is being gifted to each Tourbillon owner, comparisons can be drawn. A similar 1:4 scale model of the Ferrari 12Cilindri’s V12 engine, also made by Amalgam Collection, is priced at $18,000. That model is available to the public, whereas the Tourbillon engine is not. Its exclusivity, combined with its limited production and direct connection to Bugatti’s latest halo car, means collectors might be willing to pay far more than $18,000 for the chance to own one. But in truth, it is not for sale. That rarity only amplifies its desirability.

The engine model is a fitting prelude to the car itself. The Bugatti Tourbillon is the French marque’s next-generation hypercar, unveiled as the successor to the Chiron. Priced at around $3.9 million, it features a new 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine developed in partnership with Cosworth, paired with three electric motors for a combined output of 1,800 horsepower. The Tourbillon will be limited to just 250 units, with production scheduled to begin in 2026 at Bugatti’s new Molsheim production facility.

In every sense, the scale model embodies the same spirit as the car it represents. It is a piece of artistry, a celebration of engineering, and a powerful reminder that with Bugatti, excellence begins long before the engine is ever started.

Note – According to Toyota USA, the Camry starts at $27,800.
