Oligarchs, Hedge fund managers, sports stars, and anyone who can afford to spend $3 million on a sports car are waiting with bated breath for the Bugatti Chiron. Yes, the radical successor to the Bugatti Veyron. Our friends at Car Throttle recently got a ride on it and not just any ride; they got a spin around the Nürburgring in this 1500 HP machine. A shotgun ride with Wolfgang Dürheimer, the President of Bugatti. The 13 minute covers plenty of the car; he starts with a walkthrough and steps inside the cabin with Dürheimer, who talks about how to start the car; a button on the steering bring those 1500 race-bred horses to life. He does punch through the pedal in the middle of the lap; although shot from a single interior camera,, you can still hear the quad turbochargers unleashing their fury.
Although we doubt there would be any competition but Dürheimer said that the Chiron would be attempting ‘the worlds fastest production car title’ in 2018.
