When certain cars cruise down the street, you know that people are sitting up to take notice. The new Huayra Roadster from Pagani is exactly such a car. Pagani launched the coupe version of this car back in 2010, but this new Roadster is a drop top which makes it even more alluring.
It is powered by Mercedes-AMG’s twin turbo ‘M158’ V12 which offers 764 horsepower and 740 pound-feet of torque.
The car body is lighter but more rigid than the original coupe thanks to the use of a carbon fiber-titanium hybrid as well as a new material called Carbo-Triax HP52.
The car comes with two roof options, a carbon fiber roof featuring a glass window and a fabric unit that can be stored in the car.
Only 100 units of this car were produced and even with an intimidating price tag of € 2,280,000, (around US$2.4 million), they are already sold out.
