What happens in Monaco will soon happen in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show in Jeddah. From October 14 to 17, 2027, the inaugural event will draw some of the world’s most notable luxury vessels, UHNIs, builders, brokers, and yacht brands to the Red Sea. For more than 30 years, the Monaco Yacht Show has ruled the roost. However, Saudi event companies Tahaluf and Sela signed an agreement during the Monaco Yacht Show on September 24, bringing the same grandeur and superyacht menagerie to an inaugural event at the Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina.
The Red Sea Yacht Show 2027 will transform Jeddah’s waterfront into an international luxury destination attracting more than 50 superyachts, reported Zawya. Yes, compared to the iconic Monaco Yacht Show, which attracts 30,000 participants including prospective buyers, charter clients, and industry professionals, the number is small, but it is nonetheless significant. The Monaco Yacht Show has around 120 superyachts anchored in Port Hercule, but with the Red Sea Yacht Show, several owners will have another option closer to home in the Middle East. In addition, the facility will complement the region’s growing luxury yachting infrastructure across Red Sea destinations such as Amaala and Shura Island.
Year after year, the Monaco Yacht Show has attracted yachting enthusiasts from all over the world. In a matter of a year, the same enthusiasm and energy will be witnessed for the first time in the Kingdom, with the event featuring over 150 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors. On display will be new and pre-owned superyachts, support vessels, and day cruisers, a fabulous fleet valued at over $3 billion that will generate an estimated economic impact of up to $500 million through yacht sales, charters, and luxury tourism. The Red Sea Yacht Show will also feature luxury lifestyle exhibitions with premium brands, fine dining and hospitality experiences, and Red Sea marine adventures.
