A billionaire’s ultra-secretive 255-foot Lurssen superyacht has been seen for the first time. Spread across five decks, the vessel will soon undergo sea trials and will be delivered to its mystery owner later this year.

A superyacht cloaked in secrecy is like forbidden fruit, irresistible in every way. Lürssen’s Ace 21, a 255-foot luxury yacht currently under construction, has finally offered a rare glimpse of its beauty. Although not yet undergoing sea trials, the yacht recently moved from one hall to another at the shipyard’s facility in Lemwerder, Germany, where it will undergo final preparations before its anticipated delivery later this year.

Details about the 2,500 GT vessel remain under wraps, but it is known that Ace 21 features diesel propulsion and is constructed with a steel and aluminum hull. From what’s visible so far, it appears to be a sleek five-decker with elegant, modern lines, promising an interior filled with world-class luxury and amenities.

As with most five-deck yachts, one can expect far more than just opulent guest cabins, a gym, a beach club, and a spa. There could be an observation room, a wine cellar, or even a winter garden, though these remain speculative. With only a few months to go, it won’t be long until this yachting marvel is fully unveiled.

Ace 21’s hull was first spotted in 2023, as it was transported from Bremerhaven to Lemwerder in preparation for its final outfitting. Time has flown since then, and it will continue to do so. Let’s revisit this space at the end of the year for further updates on Ace 21, a yacht that’s already shaping up to be a true masterpiece.
