A waterbaby billionaire is building a sleek 374-foot long superyacht with a 60-foot pool that glimmers like an aquamarine pendant on the sea

German Naval Yards has signed a contract to complete the yacht Project ELF. Yes, it’s the same yard that brought to life the outlandish and extraordinary Sailing Yacht A, a vessel that set the precedent for the unconventional and the daring in modern yacht design. Now, the shipyard is taking on yet another luxury project that stands out not just for its scale and amenities, but for its unmistakable identity.

Every curve, contour, and hue of Project ELF exudes character. Even before completion, it has carved an individuality that will make it instantly recognizable among the world’s great superyachts. The 374-footer is as impressive as it is distinct. At first glance, the yacht strikes a perfect balance, the open aft deck, where lounges, dining spaces, and a vast pool invite the outdoors in, contrasts beautifully with the enclosed foredeck designed for ultimate privacy. The forward section is sheathed in tinted glass, anchored by a powerful bow and topped with a helipad, while the interiors remain hidden, ensuring seclusion where it matters most.

Project ELF features exterior lines by Pindaros LLC, assisted by Andy Waugh Yacht Design, and interiors by Pindaros LLC in collaboration with Laurent Champeau. She accommodates 18 guests in spacious, elegantly appointed suites, attended by a crew of 39. While more details will be revealed as the yacht nears completion, one feature already commands attention, her spectacular 60-foot pool, a rarity reserved for the world’s largest vessels. Only three superyachts surpass it, Dilbar (82 ft), Nord (82 ft), and Tranquility (66 ft).

With a volume of 5,000 gross tons, Project ELF promises sweeping decks, bespoke craftsmanship, and a presence that merges artistry with engineering prowess, reported Megayachtnews. For now, its shimmering pool stands as an aquamarine pendant, gracefully adorning the neck of this magnificent vessel.

“Our shipyard has long been recognised for both naval excellence and superyacht innovation,” explained Rino Brugge, CEO of German Naval Yards. “With Project ELF, we are once again showcasing German quality and craftsmanship on a vessel of exceptional size and sophistication.” As it nears completion, Project ELF is shaping up to be a yacht that redefines presence at sea. It doesn’t just flaunt scale or luxury, it embodies personality and purpose.
