The highly elusive Rolls-Royce Boat Tail has been spotted in Dubai, marking the first appearance of this particular ultra-rare luxury vehicle in the United Arab Emirates. This extraordinary automobile, bearing Ajman registration plates with the number “5”, was photographed and shared online by Instagram accounts @cf.cars1, cruising near Dubai Mall, drawing attention from onlookers and car enthusiasts alike.

This particular Boat Tail is one of only three examples ever built by Rolls-Royce, each commissioned by clients of extraordinary wealth and taste. Initial rumors suggested one of them was built for none other than Jay Z and Beyoncé. With a price tag of $30 million, it stands as one of the most expensive new automobiles in the world.

The spotted example features a striking two-tone blue exterior finish – a deep navy blue on the hood and front fascia transitioning to a lighter azure blue across the rest of the bodywork. Its distinctive wooden rear deck, reminiscent of classic racing yachts, was clearly visible as it navigated through Dubai’s upscale streets.

First unveiled in 2021, the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail represents the pinnacle of the British luxury manufacturer’s coachbuilding capabilities. The design draws inspiration from the 1932 Rolls-Royce Boat Tail and features the brand’s iconic Pantheon grille at the front, complemented by a wraparound windshield and a removable fabric roof.

What truly sets the Boat Tail apart is its unique rear compartment. The center-hinged rear decklid opens butterfly-style to reveal a host of bespoke amenities, including a double refrigerator specifically designed for champagne and a matching set of crystal flutes. The interior is equally impressive, featuring handcrafted two-tone leather upholstery that echoes the exterior color scheme. Under the enormous bonnet resides Rolls-Royce’s signature 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering effortless power with the brand’s characteristic refinement.
