Rolls Royce reveals special edition Ghawwass Phantom Coupe

Rolls Royce has revealed a special edition Phantom Coupe and the latest to join the long line up of Rolls-Royce limited editions gets a Ghawwass moniker, which in Arabic means ‘Diver’. The bespoke Ghawwass Phantom Coupé has a distinctly nautical theme and celebrates the traditional method of collecting pearls from the Bahrain pearl banks. The bright shimmery Turchese (turquoise) paint on the exterior mimics the green-blue waters of the Arabian Gulf.

The nautical color scheme is continued on the inside with a tan and Turchese interior as a reference to sand and blue waters. The special edition Phantom also features pearl veneers and a Dhow sailing boat motif on the headrests and in the coachline. According to reports, the British luxury automaker has made only two of these Ghawwass special editions. The bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantoms will go on sale next month at Abu Dhabi Motors for Dh2.5 million each ($680,000 approx).
