This neon-green Lamborghini Roadster is a modified jet ski that can zip across water at speeds up to 46mph

How would you react if you saw a neon-green, open-top Lamborghini supercar fly over the surface of water near the coastline? While it might sound like a wild dream or a sequence from the next Fast & Furious movie, there’s a German company based out of Mallorca in Spain that will let you rent a Lambo watercraft that packs the same level of adrenaline-pumping performance as a Lamborghini supercar. Called the Waterboat Car, the impressive water toy is a jet ski designed to look like a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. It even has a rear wing and massive side air intakes like the original.

The Lamborghini watercraft is operated by a German company named Wave Lovers, which is based out of Palma de Mallorca and specializes in the rental and sale of classic and exotic water toys. Their portfolio includes all types of jet skis, electrically powered surfboards with and without foils, water bikes, stand-up paddle boards, and jet boards.

However, the Lambo jet ski is the first of its kind in Mallorca. “We are always looking for very special water toys that are not available anywhere else,” says Manuel Faust, managing director of Wave Lovers. “With the Waterboat Car, we remain true to our philosophy.”

According to Faust, the Waterboat Car is a modified jet ski with a widened hull that tilts upwards on both sides. The cabin of the water toy also mirrors the interior of the Lamborghini Aventador with bucket seats, a sports steering wheel, and a digital speedometer. “You hardly get wet when driving, unless you’re speeding over the sea so hard that spray flies into the cockpit when you corner,” Faust explains.

Underneath the PVC body is a 130 hp three-cylinder jet-powered engine that can propel the Lambo boat to a maximum speed of 75km/h (~46.5mph). Wave Lovers will let you self-drive the water toy, with prices starting at 389 euros (about $422) per hour. However, you’ll need a boat license to operate it. The company also offers a ride with a professional driver, which starts at 180 euros (about $195) for a 20-minute trial ride.
