Life has come full circle for one automotive YouTuber who dared to stick his neck out in rebuilding a crashed Mansory Rolls-Royce Wraith. Earlier this year YouTuber Mat Armstrong bought UK footballer Marcus Rashford’s crashed Mansory for a fraction of its original cost. Armstrong then ripped out all the damaged panels, replacing old parts with parts from a donor Rolls-Royce. Along the way, Armstrong’s vlog-style video updates racked up millions of views across the globe. Including the founder of Mansory himself, Kourosh Mansory, who then invited Armstrong and the team down to the firm’s headquarters in Germany — to fix some of the issues with the build!
Of course, to make the journey more interesting, Armstrong and crew make the journey a road trip of a lifetime, starting with a trackway at a circuit in Spain, gambling in Monaco, and staying in rooftop tents in Switzerland, before finally heading to Mansory’s headquarters in Germany.
With Marcus Rashford’s Mansory back at the place where it was born, Kourosh Mansory personally inspects the car and convinces Armstrong to fix all the small things that were wrong with the car.
The car was missing some badges, some coachline stickers, some body panels were misaligned, and most importantly, Mansory wheels which were damaged in the accident and replaced by custom wheels. The founder of Mansory insists on fixing these issues and keeps the car overnight.
When Armstrong goes back to collect it, he finds all the small issues ironed out. He also finds that his car is rolling on original Mansory wheels, which is the cherry on top of a one-of-a-kind rebuild. With this, the Marcus Rashford Mansory Rolls-Royce is finally done. Now it’s up to Armstrong whether he keeps it, or sells it onward for profit.
