Dubai has entered the Guinness Book of Records once again, this time for a two-story tall, 8000 kg steel bird. The mammoth sculpture is embellished with 50,000 lights.

The Global Village in Dubai recently added an extraordinary attraction: the world’s largest illuminated steel sculpture of a bird, which has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. This impressive sculpture, a homage to the UAE’s national bird, the falcon, boasts an imposing stature, standing 26 feet tall and featuring an expansive wingspan of over 72 feet. Weighing approximately 8000 kg, this sculpture is not just a marvel of engineering but also a symbol of pride and cultural significance.

Nestled in the newly unveiled Mini World section of Global Village, the falcon sculpture is surrounded by 25 meticulously crafted miniature replicas of globally renowned landmarks. However, the falcon sculpture stands out in stark contrast to its miniature neighbors due to its grand scale. Adorned with 50,000 shimmering lights, this falcon has quickly become a magnet for photography enthusiasts and Instagram users, seeking to capture its majestic beauty in the idyllic setting of Global Village.

The unveiling of this record-breaking sculpture was aptly celebrated on Instagram, where Global Village proudly announced its latest achievement with a fitting caption: “#GlobalVillage soars to new heights! We have broken another Guinness World Record for The Largest Illuminated Sculpture of a Bird! #AMoreWonderfulWorld.” This addition to the Global Village not only enhances its appeal as a tourist destination but also signifies the fusion of art, culture, and technological innovation, making it a must-visit location for those seeking unique and awe-inspiring experiences.
