World’s top 10 most expensive marinas

Parking your luxe yachts in these exquisite destinations is definitely not cheap, especially during peak season. And to show just how expensive it can get, we present you with a list of the world’s top 10 most expensive marinas as compiled by Wealth Bulletin with help from Superyachts.com and Floating Life. The prices mentioned are for 70m yachts.


Capri, Italy bag the first place. The average daily mooring fee for super-yachts here is a whopping €2,900 ($3,950), and there are only 10 superyacht berths. A favorite destination of the rich and the famous, berths here must be booked way in advance and are not available to buy or rent. Besides the scenic beauty, Italian brands like Prada, Pucci, Ferragamo, Versace, and Gucci attract the luxury-loving superyacht owners to this island.
Porto Cervo, Sardinia, also in Italy, comes in at the second spot with an average daily mooring fee for the super-yachts set at €2,500 ($3,400). The number of superyacht berths is 60. Another favorite destination of the rich and the famous is an annual mooring fee for a 40-meter boat costs around €115,000 ($156,665). At the same time, a daily mooring fee at the exclusive Yacht Club Costa Smeralda can cost more than €2,500 ($3,400)!
Another Italian marina, Portofino, Liguria, comes in at number three. With an average mooring fee of €2,350 ($3,200) for superyachts, this marina has only 6 berths making it one of the most exclusive harbors!
