Next up in the line of exciting collaborations is Hublot! The watchmaker recently joined forces with DJ Snake for a one-of-its-kind masterpiece that is designed to reflect the electronic music star’s signature aesthetic. Yes, that’s right!
The bezel and six titanium components of the case are decorated with what Hublot calls a “Newton’s Rings” effect. The design is created using a complex process similar to PVD coating that involves applying colors and precisely orienting the components to create the right combination.
The end result is glorious, with the colors changing according to the light and the angle of the viewer. Given the complexity of the process, each of the 100 limited edition pieces of the watch is unique and slightly different from each other.
A flyback chronograph, the watch comes with two straps – one with a grey, black and purple camouflage and the other boasting a black ribbed structure. Commenting on it, DJ Snake said, “To be able to wear – and also offer my fans – a watch which reflects my personality is something that has been very important to me since the start of my partnership with Hublot.”
To commemorate the collaboration, the French DJ also hosted a live stream performance for fans on September 2. As for the watch, it is currently available to purchase online on hublot.com for $ 30,744(approximately).
