Hublot has added the LA Lakers to their ever-growing portfolio of partnership with sports teams; CEO Ricardo Guadalupe commemorated the new partnership by presenting a sparking Hublot clock at Staples Center. Hublot is known to partner with the cream of the crop having previously collaborated with Manchester United, Usain Bolt, FIFA and Miami Heat. Hublot announced their first partnership with an NBA team in 2010, thus making The LA Lakers their second partnership. By working with the Lakers, the company work with the winners of 16 NBA titles and solidify their presence in LA. Also present at the announcement were star shooter Kobe Bryant and Tim Harris, Senior Vice President of Business Operations. When asked about the collaboration, Harris said, “The Lakers are thrilled to be partnering with Hublot – an iconic, global brand that symbolizes a unique blend of tradition and modern style.”
Hublot has been solidifying their presence in the US and was present at the opening of the Barclays Centre, which will be home to the Brooklyn Nets. Thus adding New York to its United States presence.
