Louis Vuitton is no stranger to the world of horology and the luxury brand has been crafting eye-catching timepieces since quite a while now. Most recently, the company jumped aboard the bandwagon of brands with the Poinçon de Genève, or Geneva Seal. The Seal is reserved only for watch movements made in Canton of Geneva sporting extraordinary craftsmanship and design. Sporting the Poinçon de Genève is the new timepiece by Louis Vuitton that also boasts of a Flying Tourbillon. With a 43 mm case, the watch offers a clear view of the vertically mounted gear-train. The watch’s design also incorporates the triple V badges, accentuating the Louis Vuitton slogan, “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez,” which translates to “Fly, Sail, Travel”.
The case is made of platinum and the watch is designed to sit flat and comfortably on the wearer’s wrist. Quoting Hamdi Chatti, Vice President of Watches & Jewellery at Louis Vuitton, “Why did we get the Geneva Seal?
