Not too long ago, we reported that MB&F would contribute a custom version of their HM8 watch to Only Watch, which is an annual charity watch auction that will benefit research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration which mainly affects young boys. Louis Vuitton is making a contribution of their own in the form of the Escale Spin Time Black & Fire.
We’ve talked about LV’s Escale watches many times on this site, but this model definitely deserves a special mention. The watch incorporates three warm colors: orange, yellow and red into this scorching timepiece that uses their in-house Spin Time hour display. The watch’s brushed titanium case features classic details inspired by the brand’s signature trunks near the lugs. The lugs in addition to the bezel and crown are crafted in white gold. The watch is completed by an orange strap.
The watch will be presented in a slate-grey leather trunk with a leather patch inspired by the Earth. Its estimated value is between $52,000 and $83,000.
